What is Cloud Girls?
Founded in 2011, Cloud Girls is a vendor-neutral, not-for-profit community of female technology advocates. We’re dedicated to educating each other, our organizations and customers about the vast and dynamic cloud ecosystem. By exploring emerging market and technical trends, advocating best practices and building community, we’re fostering female thought leaders in next-generation technology.
Who are members of Cloud Girls?
Our members are leading business, marketing and engineering executives working on cloud, IoT, security, AI, Blockchain and other emerging technologies. Our membership roster includes women in tech with a range of roles – from sales and marketing to engineering – and a range of experience – from ambitious millennials to respected global leaders.
How do I become a member?
We’re an exclusive group of female thought leaders in the technology space. Our membership is limited in number and is by invitation-only. However, we welcome all interested partners to join our LinkedIn Group.
Is Cloud Girls a non-profit group?
Yes, we’re a non-profit charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As such, none of our earnings inure to a private shareholder or individual, and we’re eligible to receive tax deductible contributions.
How can I donate?
We accept donations on our website via credit card and PayPal as one-time or monthly recurring gifts. Click here to donate.
How will my donation be used?
Your donation will be used to support Cloud Girls education programs and events for women in tech and those interested in tech.
What events does Cloud Girls host?
We host an annual conference for our members in the fall that focuses on personal and professional development, networking and planning for the organization’s initiatives in the new year.
What events does Cloud Girls support?
We are active supporters of many industry event organizers. Our members often are consulted on programming strategies and speaker recruitment. We also participate as keynote speakers, panelists and moderators.
What education programs does Cloud Girls provide?
We educate our membership through monthly webinars featuring member research as well as guest expert speakers. In addition, we regularly present at industry conferences that call for expertise in cloud and next-generation technology. We also are frequent contributors to publications as expert sources or bloggers.
How do I request Cloud Girls provide a speaker for my event?

Does Cloud Girls have a vendor sponsorship program?
Our new Advisory Council is charged with evaluating sponsorship options, so we hope to have a program soon. Meanwhile, if your company is interested in supporting our mission, please consider donating.
Does Cloud Girls have a mentorship program?
Presently, we do not have a formal mentorship program though it’s on our roadmap. Meanwhile many of our members participate in mentorship through their companies or third-party organizations.
